Named to the Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American Team by Collegiate Baseball...Named to the NCBWA Freshman All-American Second Team...Earned CAA All-Tournament Team honors after earning the win against Northeastern in the opening game of the CAA Championship...Also earned saves in both games against UNC Wilmington during the Panthers run to the school's first-ever CAA Championship, recording the final out of the championship...The win over Northeastern was his first career victory...Allowed just two hits in two innings pitched against No. 22 Elon in the NCAA Atlanta Regional, holding the Phoenix scoreless while striking out two...Served as both an infielder and relief pitcher during the season...On the mound, moved into the top ten in school history with seven saves, third most in program history...Anchored a bullpen that set a school record with 19 saves during the season...Finished the year with a team best 1.35 ERA in 18 appearances, closing out both of the Panthers' shutouts...Struck out 23 in 26.2 innings pitched, while holding opponents to just a .216 batting average, tops on the team...Made 29 appearances in the field, including 19 starts at shortstop...Collected first career hit going 1-for-2 against Eastern Michigan...Finished the year with 13 runs scored and seven RBIs, along with a pair of doubles...Ended the season with a .337 on base percentage after walking 11 times.

Played for Mark Francisco at Abingdon HS in Abingdon, Va...Earned the Scholar-Athlete Award three times...As a member of the Falcons, earned All-State honors as a sophomore, junior and senior...Received the Jack Musser Most Outstanding Spring Athlete Award and was named team MVP twice...Holds the school record for the most hits in a season, as well as most runs scored in a season...Won the Abingdon Falcon Award...Batted .551 as a sophomore and went 6-3 on the mound...During his junior year, batted .440, while accumulating a 7-3 pitching record...Batted .515 as a senior...That same season, batted 5-for-6 with two doubles in the Region 4 Championship game, leading the Falcons to the championship and a 19-8 record.
