ATLANTA- Georgia State women’s tennis is back in action this Saturday with a pair of matches in Atlanta. The Panthers will take on Emory at 10:00 am and Coastal Carolina at 3:00 pm. Both matches will be held at Emory’s Woodruff P.E. Center Tennis Courts and may be played on the indoor courts depending on rain.

GSU will enter Saturday’s play with a 1-3 record, having played three teams who qualified for last season’s NCAA Tournament. Coastal Carolina holds a 1-1 record, and Saturday’s match will be the season opener for Emory.

The Panther’s thus far have been led by Arina Taluyenko. The sophomore from Kazakhstan has won her past two singles matches, and boasts a 2-0 record on the season in singles play.

The match against Coastal Carolina will be GSU’s second Sun Belt match of the young season. The Panthers defeated ULM 4-1 in their only other conference tilt this year.

Live updates for both matches will be available by following @GSUWTennis on Twitter.
