ATLANTA, Ga.- Georgia State women’s tennis is on the road this weekend for their final event of the fall. Six Panthers will participate in the Marliss Gruver Fall Invitational in Auburn, Alabama over the weekend.
Junior Damira Muminović leads GSU, coming off a strong showing in the ITA Regionals last weekend. The 2018 Sun Belt Second Team selection will be joined by Lara Vovk, Daniela Ramirez, Anastasia Grosheva, Andreea Stanescu, and Eva Chivu. The field of 32 singles players will be made up of athletes from Auburn, Arkansas, Kansas, Miami, Oklahoma, and Ole Miss.
The tournament will be Georgia State’s final action of the fall as the team prepares for the January 18 spring season opener. It is the first of two trips the Panthers will make to Auburn this school year, as GSU faces the Tigers and Samford in a doubleheader on February 17.
