ATLANTA- Georgia State women’s tennis will have six student-athletes compete in the ITA Regional this weekend in Athens. Daniela Ramirez, Lara Vovk, Elizabet Danailova, Kristin Rehse, Arina Taluyenko, and Damira Muminović will represent the Panthers. GSU is one of seventeen schools represented in the tournament.
Play will begin Thursday at 9:00 a.m. with two rounds of singles and doubles qualifying. Lara Vovk will be the lone Panther to participate in the qualifying rounds. Main draw action will get started on Friday. The tournament will conclude on Monday with singles and doubles finals. The full schedule is below.
Action will begin each day at 9:00 a.m. with the exception of Sunday, which will have a 10:00 a.m. start. All matches will be played at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex in Athens, Georgia. Singles and doubles champions will receive automatic entry into the 2017 Oracle ITA National Fall Championships.
