ATHENS, GA- Georgia State women’s tennis competed in day two of the ITA Regionals Saturday in Athens, Georgia. Lara Vovk and Kristin Rehse picked up a win in the doubles consolation round of 16, and Damira Muminovic earned a win in the singles consolation round of 16.

The Panthers struggled in the main draw as Damira Muminovic and Arina Taluyenko fell in the doubles main draw to a pair from Florida State. Senior Kristin Rehse was defeated in the singles main draw to Georgia Tech’s Paige Hourigan who is ranked 49th in the nation.

Rehse and Vovk will play tomorrow in the consolation quarterfinal. Freshman Elizabet Danailova will compete in the consolation quarterfinal for singles tomorrow afternoon.
