ATLANTA- GSU women’s tennis fell 4-1 to South Alabama Saturday morning in Peachtree City. Second-Team All-Sun Belt selection Damira Muminovic provided GSU with the lone point, winning in three sets.

The Panthers fell behind early as they dropped the doubles point. South Alabama would make it 2-0 with a win on singles court one. The Jaguars would win on court one in three sets to push the margin to 3-0. Muminvic would fight back for GSU to win in three sets on court three, cutting the deficit to 3-1, but it would not be enough as South Alabama took the point on court four for the match.

The Panthers finish the season 11-13 with an even 6-6 record in conference play. Muminovic as well as Sun Belt Freshman of the Year Eva Chivu will return to the team next season.
