GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Georgia State's track and field team competed in the 2018 Florida Relays this weekend in Gainesville, Fla.

Angela Alonso, Nuria Ramirez and Lotte Meyberg had the top performances for GSU at the Florida Relays.

Alonso recorded the fastest 1,500-meter time for GSU this season as she ran a 4:33.74. The previous best for GSU was Meyberg's 4:43.73 last week at the Weems Basking Invite.

Ramirez and Meyberg finished 15th and 18th, respectively, in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in Gainesville. Ramirez recorded a 10:55.52 which is the top mark for GSU this season.

Meyberg bested her previous PR by 30 seconds as she finished the event in 11:06.97.

Georgia State goes back to Columbia, S.C., where the team competed a week ago, for the Gamecock Invite on April 7.
