LEXINGTON, Ky. - Georgia State's indoor track and field team competed against some of the nation’s best this weekend at the two-day Rod McCravey Indoor T&F Invitational hosted by Kentucky.


Top 5 performances:


3000 meters

2nd place: Lotte Meyberg (JR). 10.01.07


Long Jump

4th place: Na’ilah Moore (FR).  5.81 meters (GSU indoor school record)


Triple Jump

4th place: Alexus Shaw (JR).  12.12 meters



4th place: Angela Alonso (JR).  4:58.84


4x400m Relay

5th place: GSU (Jahmee Reeves, Gabrielle Irving, Jada Watson, Jordyn Braswell)  3.52.50


Next weekend the Panthers compete at the Samford Open in Birmingham. The team continues to improve and build confidence heading toward the February 18-19 Sun Belt Conference Indoor Track & Field Championship.
