ATLANTA - Georgia State's track and field team saw 11 Panthers earn academic honors during the 2017 spring semester. Danielle Livingstone led the team with a 4.11 GPA.

Livingstone earned President's List distinction which recognizes student-athletes with a 4.0 GPA and above. Tracy Dorcemont, Ravin Gilbert, Ashley Miller, Airian Riddick, Ashlan Rosier, Lysah Russell and Alexus Shaw all were named to the Dean's List for earning a GPA between 3.5 and 3.99.

Rashell Reid, Tyler Watson and Alysiah Whittaker each made the A.D. Honor Roll (3.0-3.49 GPA).

The Georgia State Department of Athletics shattered all previous records with a 3.30 grade-point average for the spring semester and 227 student-athletes earning academic honors.

The 3.30 GPA topped the previous semester record of 3.18 set last spring. The outstanding semester gives the athletic department a GPA of 3.22 for the 2016-17 academic year. The combined cumulative GPA for all student-athletes now sits at 3.25, also an all-time high.

A record 51 student-athletes earned President's List recognition, Georgia State's highest academic distinction signifying a semester GPA of 4.0 or higher. Rhett Harper of the baseball team and women's golfer Solene Le Coz were the top individuals, each with a 4.30 semester GPA - straight A-plusses.

Eighty-seven individuals achieved Dean's List status with a semester GPA of 3.5-3.99, also a high for the department, and another 89 student-athletes made the Athletic Director's Honor Roll with a 3.0 or higher.
