2008 (Hillsborough CC): Helped lead the Hawks to a 34-10 record, reaching as high as eighth in the country, earning all-conference first team honors...Finished the season playing 96 sets, tying for second on the team with 51 total blocks...Scored 176 kills and a .295 hitting percentage during her one year with the Hawks.

2007 (UT-Martin): During her freshman season, played in 16 matches, including making a pair of starts...Scored 31 kills and a .200 hitting percentage, while garnering 12 total blocks...Finished the year with a pair of aces and 39.5 points scored in limited action...Georgia State assistant coach Ada Bazin was an assistant for the Skyhawks and recruited Jones at the time.

High School: As a member of the Bartow High Yellow Jackets, served as a four-sport star, earning letters in both volleyball and basketball, while also participating in softball and track.

Personal: Raquel Jones is one of nine children to George Jones Jr....She was born on July 5, 1989 in Bartow, Fla...Has two younger brothers (George III, 18 & Devon, 16), as well as six sisters (Nikki, 30; Monika, 23; Cilia, 21; Gwen, 17; Mercedes, 15; & Sasha, 6)... Plans to major in psychology.
