ATLANTA- Volleyball head coach Sally Polhamus announced the addition of Julianna Truscott to the 2019 squad. The freshman will add depth to Georgia State’s hitting core.

Truscott joins the Panthers from Calgary, Canada. She comes to GSU with an impressive resume. She was the Athlete of the Year in 2016 and 2017. She earned Varsity MVP accolades in 2016, 2017 and 2018. In 2018, Truscott led her team to a Provincial Championship and earned Co-MVP honors along the way. In addition, she was the Royal Bank of Canada Training Ground Winner.

In the classroom, Truscott is equally as impressive. She recorded a 3.85 GPA during her high school career.  While at GSU, she plans to study health science on a pre-med track.

Sally Polhamus and the remainder of the volleyball team are excited to welcome Truscott to Atlanta. The Panthers’ first match is slated for August 30 at the Georgia State Sports Arena against Western Carolina.
