ATLANTA - Allison Johnson scored 17 points with six rebounds and Walnatia Wright tallied her fourth double-double of the season to lead Georgia State to a 62-54 win over Bethune-Cookman Friday at the GSU Sports Arena.

Wright finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Jada Lewis also finished in double figures with 14 points to go with four assists and three steals.

The Panthers fell behind 16-10 at the end of the first quarter and B-CU led by as many as 11 in the second quarter before Georgia State got locked in on defense and started getting shots to fall on the offensive end. Wright and Johnson led the charge to narrow the gap before halftime with Johnson scoring with three seconds left to tie the game at 28-28 at the break. 

Lewis caught fire in the second half, scoring eight of her 14 points after halftime. 

The Panthers pulled away in the third quarter, but Bethune-Cookman kept things interesting all the way to the buzzer. 

Georgia State was 5-for-6 from the free throw line in the 4th quarter to hold off the Wildcats and improve to 6-4 on the season.
