2015-16

Played in all 29 games and started 14 during her freshman season...Was one of only six members of team to play all 29 games...Her 14 starts tied for fourth-most starts on team.

Williams' 452 minutes played were the sixth highest on team...First start came in game three of season vs. Morehead State (Nov. 21)...Played 25 or more minutes of a game four times.

Grabbed at least one rebound in 27 of the 29 games and scored in 20 of the 29 games during her freshman campaign.

Scored 98 points (3.4) to finish 10th on team...Had two games with nine points (Morehead State, Nov. 21, and at UL Monroe, March 5)...Had three games with eight points.

Grabbed 70 rebounds (2.4) to finish seventh on team...Had top game of 7 rebounds at Texas State (Jan. 2)...Added 6 rebounds in win at Appalachian State (Jan. 21)...Had a pair of games with 5 rebounds (at Alabama, Nov. 24, and vs. Morehead State, Nov. 21).

Was fifth on team with 15 assists...Had two assists in a game three times.

PREP

Played the most minutes (37 per game) on powerhouse Blackman High School team that won Tennessee state championship with No. 5 national ranking at 32-2 under coach Chad Hibdon.

Blackman Lady Blaze won back-to-back state championships with a 34-1 record in Williams' final two seasons...That team was also national champs by MaxPreps, ESPN, and USA Today.

The 66-3 two-year mark saw losses only to teams from California, Missouri and Florida.

On a team with four Division I signees, Williams averaged 7.8 points per game (264 points) and 4.7 rebounds per game (159 total)...Had more offensive rebounds than defensive (84-75).

Was most often assigned to guard opponents' best offensive player and readily accepted that challenge.
Williams earned all-region and all-district honors, while being chosen for the Tennessee All-Star game.
Made 51 assists (1.5 per game), throwing "a dart" according to the local newspaper, for the go-ahead basket in the final minute of the second-overtime...Had five points, four rebounds, three assists and a steal in that 2OT, 58-54 win.

Credited with 41 steals (1.2 per game) and six blocked shots...Shot 49 percent on 2-point shots (64 of 131), but stepped outside the 3-point line to make 26 3-point baskets.

Was second-best on team with 58 of 87 free throws (67%)...Won team's Iron Award for toughness in the weight room and on the playing floor.

Played AAU basketball with The Flight Navy team.

Kaylyn (nickname K.K.) Williams was born in Tennessee on Jan. 27, 1997 to Laureen Wallace and Kenneth Williams...Has a brother, Kenneth, Jr.

Began studies in business marketing at Georgia State.
