ATLANTA - Georgia State's women's basketball team was defeated by FAU 82-50 Friday night at the GSU Sports Arena.

Kierra Henry's 16 points and eight rebounds led the Panthers and Shaq Miller-McCray finished with seven points, six rebounds and four blocks in the loss.

Georgia State as outrebounded 58-45 and the Owls shot 37% from the field while holding GSU to just 25%.

The Panthers were within striking distance after three quarters, but the Owls turned hot in the final period and outscored GSU 25-6 in the fourth quarter.

Up next for Georgia State is a home game on Dec. 19 against Jacksonville State before visiting UNCW on Dec. 21.
