ATLANTA – Georgia State women’s soccer head coach Ed Joyce has announced the Joyce Soccer School Winter ID Camp on Feb. 23 has moved locations due to impending weather in the area. Saturday’s camp will now be held at the GSU Football Practice Facility, located at 188 Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. SE, Atlanta, GA.

The JSS Winter ID Camp will run from 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. and is open to girls in grades 9-12 who aspire to play college soccer. Campers will be exposed to a Division I college training environment and will experience a similar training session to that of the GSU women’s soccer team while focusing on technical and tactical components of the game in both small and large sided sessions.

Players are still eligible to register for the Winter ID Camp and can sign up here. For directions to the GSU Football Practice Facility, click here.

The cost of the camp is $125. There is a $100 non-refundable registration fee for the camp, no exceptions. Cancellations 14 days prior to camp will have all fees refunded except the $100. Cancellations 72 hours of fewer to camp will not be refunded.

Participants are encouraged to bring necessary training gear such as cleats, shin guards, water bottles, etc.

Joyce and his staff led Georgia State women’s soccer to its first Sun Belt Conference Tournament appearance since 2015 this season, finishing the year 6-1-1 in the last eight matches. He also guided the Panthers to four consecutive conference victories in the month of October, a feat that the program hadn’t accomplished in 14 years.
