NEW ORLEANS - Ivie Drake is this week's Sun Belt Community Coffee Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday.

Drake drove in seven runs this weekend in just 10 at-bats as Georgia State swept rival Georgia Southern in Statesboro. In Game 1, Drake went 2-for-4 and scored twice. In Game 2, Drake homered and drove in four runs. She closed the weekend out with a three RBI performance in Game 3, going 2-for-3 at the plate and scoring three times.

For the series, Drake hit .500 (5-for-10), slugged .800 and scored six times.

Drake's performance helped the Panthers clinch the No. 3 seed for the Sun Belt Conference Tournament.

She is the second Panther in a row to earn Player of the Week honors as Megan Litumbe was recognized last week.
