ATLANTA - Softball's Megan Litumbe helped the Panthers go 3-1 last week, including a series win over Georgia Southern to earn Georgia State Student-Athlete of the Week honors on Monday.

The senior hit .538 with three doubles, six RBI and two walks last week.

Litumbe went a perfect 3-for-3 on Senior Day as the Panthers run-ruled the Eagles in five innings. She got a hit in each game and recorded two multi-hit games. She also doubled in all three games against Georgia Southern.

Litumbe slugged .769 for the week and ended the regular season on a 10-game hit streak.

The Panthers will open the Sun Belt Conference Championship on Wednesday in Game No. 4. Georgia State will play the winner of No. 6 South Alabama/No. 7 Georgia Southern at 6:30 p.m. ET.
