ATLANTA- The Georgia State men’s tennis team will open its fall schedule this weekend at the Southern Intercollegiate Championships hosted by Georgia.

Quentin Coulaud and Andrei Andrukhou will open play in the Division I singles bracket, with both Andrukhou and Coulaud having a bye. Andrukhou will play at the No. 16 seed.

Giles Hussey, Jack MacFarlane, and Sebastian Acuna will open the tournament in the Division II bracket, with Acuna playing as the alpha seed and earning a bye. MacFarlane will face Alexandros Caldwell of Radford and Hussey will face Nicolas Rouanet of Louisville.

In the Division III bracket, Andrei Duarte will face Robin Calais of Radford while Bailey Showers and Kevin Huynh earned first round byes.

In doubles play, Andrukhou and Coulaud earned a first round bye while Acuna and MacFarlane will face Loic Blanco and Amgus Bradshaw of Stetson in the Division I bracket. Hussey and Huyhn will face Gonzalo Garcia and Wenceslao Albin of Tennessee Tech, with Showers and Duarte facing Omar El-Moslemany and David Korsten of Lander.

Play will begin on Friday morning at 8 a.m. and will conclude on Monday afternoon.
