ATLANTA- The No. 47 Georgia State men’s tennis will host South Alabama Saturday afternoon in the team’s first conference match of the season. The match was originally scheduled for Sunday but was pushed up due to forecasted weather.

The Panthers are on a two-match winning streak, defeating North Florida and Charlotte in Jacksonville, Fla. last weekend. Freshman Kevin Huynh clinched both matches, giving him a 6-3 overall singles record.

Senior Sebastian Acuna is another leader in singles play, going 6-1 and winning his last two matches. Junior Giles Hussey is also having a good start to the season, going 5-3 at the No. 3-6 positions.

South Alabama is 3-3 entering the weekend, facing Samford Friday afternoon. This will be the first conference match for the Jaguars.

The match will be a rematch of the Sun Belt Conference Championship, where the Panthers won 4-3 and claimed the conference title.

First serve is set for 4 p.m. at the GSU Clarkston Campus.
