ATLANTA – It’s a sellout! Tonight is the opening night of college football and the inaugural game at Parker H. Petit Field at Georgia State Stadium and the Panthers opening game against Tennessee State and if you do not have a ticket, it is too late.

The last ticket for tonight’s game was sold just after 11 a.m. More than 25,000 fans are expected to pack the stadium for the 7 p.m. kick-off.

Fans are also encouraged to be in their seats early for several special pregame festivities that will open the new stadium. Parking lots are scheduled to open at 3 p.m. and the gates will open at 5:30 p.m.

As a reminder, the clear bag policy will be used at all events at Georgia State Stadium and umbrellas are not permitted in the stadium.

The next chance to catch the Panthers at home is against Memphis on Sept. 30. It will also be Parents and Families Weekend. To purchase tickets for that game or other games, click here or call 404-413-4020.
