ATLANTA -- Georgia State football standout Penny Hart has accepted an invitation to play in the Reese's Senior Bowl, the second straight year that a former Panther will play in the prestigious all-star game.

The 2019 Reese's Senior Bowl is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 26 at 2:30 p.m. ET at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Ala. It will be televised on the NFL Network.

Hart was a three-time All-Sun Belt Conference selection for the Panthers as well as a Freshman All-America and the Sun Belt Freshman of the Year in 2015. He finished his career as the fourth-leading receiver in Sun Belt Conference history with 2,950 receiving yards on 202 receptions (seventh in Sun Belt history).

He earned his degree from Georgia State in December.

Hart follows cornerback Chandon Sullivan, who became the first Georgia State player to be invited to the Senior Bowl. After playing in the 2018 game, Sullivan signed a free agent contract with the Philadelphia Eagles, and he split time between the Eagles' practice squad and active roster, playing in five games.
