ATLANTA -- Twenty-three members of the 2018-19 Georgia State football team earned Sun Belt Conference academic honors, including five student-athletes named to the Sun Belt Commissioner's List and 18 tabbed to the Sun Belt Honor Roll.

Current team members Charlie Flint (redshirt freshman long snapper), Oliver Holdenson (redshirt senior punter/holder) and Chris Sibilia (redshirt sophomore offensive lineman) were named to the Sun Belt Commissioner's List, which recognizes student-athletes who maintained a grade point average of 3.50 or higher for the 2018-19 academic year. Holdenson was recognized on the Commissioner's List for the third straight year, and Sibilia for the second time.

The Sun Belt Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes with a GPA of 3.0-3.49 for the academic year. A total of 18 Panthers made the Sun Belt Honor Roll for 2018-19, including current team members Khai Anderson, T.J. Arnold, Barry Brown, Trey Chapman, Jordan Cornelius, Ed Curney, Bryson Duckworth, Shamarious Gilmore, Jonathan Ifedi, Remy Lazarus, Tre Moore, Mateo Rengifo, Malik Sumter, Terry Thomas and Nygee Williams-Mitchell.
