ATLANTA – Georgia State has announced that the Panthers will travel to LSU for the 2023 season, as well amended the dates for the home-and-home series with East Carolina.

The Panthers will face the Tigers in Death Valley on Nov. 18, 2023, marking a fifth-straight season facing an SEC opponent. Georgia State has a previously scheduled home-and-home series with Vanderbilt scheduled for 2024 and 2025 which will push that stretch of years with an SEC opponent to seven-straight seasons.

Georgia State and East Carolina also announced an amendment to a previously signed contract to the benefit of both programs.

The Panthers will now host the Pirates on Oct. 3, 2020, and make a return trip to Greenville, N.C., on Sept. 25, 2027.

With the change, Georgia State has set its non-conference schedules through the 2022 season.

Season tickets are now on sale for the 2019 season by calling 404-413-4020 or by visiting The Panthers host Army and Furman in non-conference action this year, while Sun Belt Conference foes Appalachian State, Arkansas State, South Alabama, and Troy make an appearance at Georgia State Stadium.
