ATLANTA -- This week's edition of the Remy Lazarus Show introduces tight end Aubry Payne, a transfer who scored a touchdown at Tennessee in his GSU debut.
Each week during the season, senior safety and team captain Remy Lazarus visits with one of his teammates.
Payne, a junior from Locust Grove, Ga., began his career with two seasons at Western Carolina. He had 14 receptions for 123 yards as a freshman and was named to the Southern Conference All-Freshman team. After missing most of the 2017 season due to injury, he enrolled at GSU in 2018 and sat out the season as a transfer.
In the win at Tennessee, Payne caught an 11-yard touchdown pass from Dan Ellington on the first drive of the second half to give GSU a 21-17 lead.
