ATLANTA – The Georgia State women’s golf team will close out the regular season beginning on Monday at the Charleston Invitational at RiverTowne Country Club in Mount Pleasant, S.C.

The Panthers are coming off a sixth-place finish at the John Kirk Panther Intercollegiate on Tuesday and are looking to build momentum going into the Sun Belt Championship in two weeks.

A group of 16 teams will play 54 holes Monday and Tuesday with a shotgun start coming at 8:45 a.m. each day.

“This is an important tournament for our team,” head coach Cathy Mant said. “It is our final event of the regular season and our last chance to build some momentum heading into the conference tournament. Our team feels good and is excited to get back on the course.”

Joining Georgia State in the field will be Campbell, Charleston Southern, College of Charleston, The Citadel, Coastal Carolina, East Carolina, FIU, Georgia Southern, High Point, Memphis, Middle Tennessee State, Morehead State, UNC Wilmington, North Florida, and William & Mary

This week’s line-up will include senior Paula Zabarte, junior Jemima Gregson, sophomores Harmanprit Kaur and Grace Choi, along with freshman Chloe Howard.

Following this week’s tournament, Georgia State will open the Sun Belt Conference Championship at The Raven Golf Club in Miramar Beach, Fla., April 16-18.
