ATLANTA – Coming off a nearly two-week break, the Georgia State women’s golf team will return to the course on Sunday for the 41st annual FIU Pat Bradley Classic at Lakewood Ranch Golf Club. The three-day event will feature teams from throughout the country on the par 72, 6,298-yard course.

Georgia State has competed in the event in each of the last three years. Last year, Harmanprit Kaur tied for sixth place, finishing with rounds of 70 and 72.

Kaur is once again leading the Panthers this season and will be the lone upperclassmen in the line-up this week. The junior’s 73.67 scoring average is best on the team and she has already garnered two top 25 finishes in three events this fall.

“Our team needed a little bit of a break knowing that we have back-to-back tournaments coming up next week,” head coach Cathy Mant said. “We were able to get in some good practice and are excited to be returning to the course after a good finish two weeks ago.”

The line-up this week will include Kaur, sophomores Chloe Howard and Petra Duran, along with freshmen Emma Berlin and Maria Blasco.

Along with Georgia State, the field includes Cincinnati, Eastern Michigan, Florida Atlantic, Florida Gulf Coast, FIU, Gonzaga, Jacksonville, McNeese State, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Missouri-Kansas City, South Florida, Southern Miss, UTEP, and Wyoming.

Live scoring of all three rounds can be found at BirdieFire.com. Fans can follow the team on twitter @GSU_WGolf.

The 15-team field will play 54 holes over three days beginning on Sunday. Teams will utilized tee times the first two days starting at 8 a.m., with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start set for the final round on Tuesday.

Following this week’s tournament, Georgia State will close out the fall season at the Alexa Stirling Women’s Invitational hosted by Louisville at Atlanta Athletic Club in Johns Creek beginning next Friday.
