Winters became a captain of the basketball team at East Hall as a junior... She ranks third on East Hall's all-time points list with 1,597 points... She scored 567 points her senior year, making 133 3-pointers including a single-game record of 12 3-pointers... She was named the 2018 7AAA Player of the Year and also earned spots on the 2018 7AAA All-Region and 7AAA All-State teams... She earned Esmark All-America honors and was a McDonald's All-American nominee her senior season... Winters was named all-state and all-region her junior and sophomore seasons as well... As a freshman in 2015, Winters was named all-region and received her team's Bombs Away Award... She received the Buster Gunter Award in 2014... Winters excelled academically at East Hall, earning Academic Excellence recognition all four years... She was an FCA leader and member of Beta Club... She played AAU for DL Impact and was her team's leading scorer for four seasons with a career point total of 1,357.


Carly Mae Winters was born on December 10, 1999... Daughter of Jeff and Judy Winters... She is the youngest of three daughters... Her older siblings (Austin and Natalie) are twins... Intends to major in Occupational Therapy at Georgia State.
