ATLANTA – A total of 36 current and former Panther student-athletes are scheduled to walk across the stage this week as a part of Georgia State’s Spring Commencement at Georgia State Stadium. Another 19 student-athletes are expected to graduate this summer as they finish up their degrees.

After completing the conversion of Georgia State Stadium from Turner Field, this marks the first set of commencement exercises being held in the home of GSU Football.

Four football players who led the Panthers to their first AutoNation Cure Bowl victory and a school-record win total will graduate this week.

Georgia State baseball leads the way with nine graduates this week, while six members of the men’s soccer squad will walk across the stage. The baseball team is locked up in a key series with Appalachian State beginning on Friday.

Sun Belt Conference Women’s Tennis Player of the Year Kristin Rehse will also graduate and then lead the Panthers against Georgia in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday.

Twin brothers Alex Herrmann and Max Herrmann will also earn their degrees after four successful seasons with the men’s golf team in which they led the Panthers to NCAA Regional play three times and the 2017 Sun Belt Conference Championship.

Listed below are the student-athletes who will graduate this week, along with those expected to graduate this summer.
