ATLANTA - Following auditions over the weekend, the GSU Pantherettes Dance Team has been selected for 2019-20 team as announced by head coach Darryl Lyons on Monday.
As a part of the spirit squad, the group performs at Georgia State football and basketball games throughout the season along with other select events.
"Although it is only May, this group is already excited to start preparing routines for the 2019-20 season," Lyons said. "We have a really talented group of young ladies who are excited about what next year has in store. Although the first game of the year is still months away, they understand the hard work and dedication that is required to be ready. I look forward to working with them."
The 2019-20 group includes:

The group will practice throughout the summer to prepare for their first event on Sept. 7, as Georgia State football hosts Furman, at Georgia State Stadium.
