Trailing 1-0, he hit game-tying solo homer in the eighth inning, then had an RBI-single in the ninth for a key insurance run. That was his first home run since Feb. 14, 2015, the second game of his freshman season and a span of 1,540 days ... Had his first career triple and a sacrifice fly in Game 3 of the series ... Hit his second homer in three games with a solo shot vs. Presbyterian (5-8-19) ... Singled in his final at-bat in the Panthers’ Senior Day win over Georgia Southern.

2017: Enjoyed a solid season in his first year as the GSU closer ... Collected six saves, the seventh-best season total in GSU history, in 18 appearances ... 1-2 record with a 4.35 ERA ... Missed about a month due to injury.

Named to the 2017 CoSIDA Academic All-District team, sporting a 4.15 cumulative GPA, the highest of any baseball student-athlete on the Academic All-District teams ... Made a perfect 4.30 (five A-plusses) for the spring semester.

Earned his first career save with two innings vs. Western Michigan ... Pitched a 1-2-3 11th inning with two strikeouts to save GSU's 2-0 (11) win at No. 14 Ole Miss (3-8-17). Appeared in both games in the series, throwing 2.1 scoreless innings ... Picked up his third save with a 1-2-3 ninth inning vs. Army (3-12-16) ... In his return from injury, pitched three scoreless innings to earn the victory in 4-3, 11-inning win over ULM (4-29-17). Allowed two hits and struck out four in the ninth, 10th and 11th innings ... Got save No. 4 with a scoreless ninth inning, including two strikeouts, in 7-5 victory at Minnesota (5-3-17) .... Saved his second straight game with a scoreless ninth at Texas State (5-5-17) ... 2016: Played in 17 games, including 15 starts, as an outfielder or DH and hit .250 with seven RBI ... Had two doubles and four RBI in Coppin State series ... Threw out a runner at the plate vs. VCU (2-20-16).

Pitching for the first time, he went 2-2 with a 6.04 ERA in 13 appearances ... Had 23 strikeouts and just four walks in 22.1 innings ... Made the first mound appearance of his college career vs. Jackson State (3-14-16), pitching the ninth inning of the 11-5 win. Allowed one run but struck out two; needed just three pitches to strike out the first batter he faced ... Earned his first win vs. Savannah State (3-22-16), when he pitched a 1-2-3 10th inning with two strikeouts to set up the Panthers' walk-off win ... Pitched 2.1 scoreless innings, allowing just one hit, vs. No. 23 South Alabama (4-29-16) ... Two scoreless innings with three strikeouts to finish a 13-5 win over Alabama A&M (5-3-16).

Earned his second win at Texas State (5-8-16) by recording the final four outs in the 11-inning victory. Came on with two outs and two on in the 10th and got an inning-ending strikeout. After GSU scored one in the 11th, he got the final three outs to seal the win ... Tough luck loser in a career-long 4.0-inning stint vs. Troy (5-13-16), when he held the Trojans scoreless on just one hit for the eighth, ninth and 10th innings before allowing two runs in the 11th.

2015: Played in 39 games as a freshman, including 12 starts in the outfield ... Also used as a defensive replacement in right field ... Hit .224 with one homer and eight RBI.

Hit a solo home run against No. 23 Liberty in his third collegiate at-bat ... Delivered a walk-off win vs. Florida A&M (3-17-15) with a suicide squeeze to score Ryan Blanton in the bottom of the 11th inning ... Started all three games in the UT Arlington series and had four hits. Drove in a run in the Panthers' 5-2 win on Friday and then made a key defensive play in Sunday's 2-1 victory when he threw out a runner at the plate ... Delivered a bases-loaded, three-run double in the eighth inning vs. Savannah State, driving in crucial insurance runs in 10-5 victory.
