SAN MARCOS, TEXAS -- Georgia State fell 12-2 (8 innings) in Sunday's series finale at No. 30 Texas State as the Bobcats won the series, two games to one.

Texas State (33-15, 17-7 Sun Belt), the Sun Belt Conference leader, jumped in front with four runs in the first inning and then broke the game open with six more in the third. The Bobcats hit five homers, including three in the third inning.

Senior Rhett Harper continued his strong series for Georgia State (14-34, 5-19) with two more hits, including his first career triple, as well as an RBI on a sacrifice fly. Harper was also the standout in GSU's 3-1 win on Saturday with a homer and two RBI.

Jake Rogers was GSU's most effective pitcher today as the senior righty allowed one hit and struck out four in three scoreless innings.
