What you need to know:

* The CCSA announced its conference tournament schedule Saturday evening. Matches begin Friday morning in Emerson, Ga.

* As a No. 3 seed in Pool B, Georgia State is set to play Friday, April 21st at 10:30 a.m. versus College of Charleston. The Panthers (19-11, 6-5) finish day one of round robin play with FAU at 3 p.m. GSU battles LSU on Saturday at noon and UAB at 3 p.m.

* The top two teams from Pool B will advance to the semifinals Sunday, April 23rd. The championship match is scheduled for 1 p.m. and will be broadcasted live on ESPN3.


ATLANTA, Ga. – The CCSA announced its conference tournament schedule Saturday evening. Georgia State (19-11, 6-5) earned a No. 3 seed in Pool B after going 3-1 out in Baton Rouge, La. this weekend.

Head coach Beth Van Fleet and the Panthers kick off their CCSA Championship run Friday, April 21st at 10:30 a.m. versus College of Charleston. GSU wraps up day one of round robin play with FAU.

On day two, Georgia State competes against LSU Saturday at noon and UAB at 3 p.m. ET.

The Panthers combined to go 2-0 versus Charleston and UAB this season. The team split a pair of matches with FAU and lost twice at 3-2 against LSU in closely contested matches.
