What you need to know:

* Delaney Rohan and Chelsea Ross dropped their final two matches to conclude the USAV Beach Collegiate Championships Saturday afternoon. The duo finished the tournament as the number four pair in the field.

* In the semifinal match, Rohan and Ross fell to the USC Trojans' Terese Cannon and Nicolette Martin 21-18, 21-23, 13-15. The senior and graduate transfer dropped the bronze medal match to Pepperdine's Brittany Howard and Corinne Quiggle.

* Ross and Rohan had an outstanding career as a tandem. Their four wins this weekend give them 28 total this season.


HERMOSA BEACH, Calif. – In the final day of the USAV Beach Collegiate Championships, Delaney Rohan and Chelsea Ross dropped their last two matches of the tournament.

The pair fell to the USC Trojans' Terese Cannon and Nicolette Martin 21-18, 21-23, 13-15. Ross and Rohan dropped the bronze medal match to Pepperdine's Brittany Howard and Corinne Quiggle.

The senior and graduate transfer showed tremendous resiliency to go 4-3 in the tournament and finished as the No. 4 pair in the competition. The four victories give them 28 as a tandem this season.

The USC Trojans' Kelly Claes and Sara Hughes went on to win the gold medal in three sets versus teammates Cannon and Martin.
