Taylor McColskey joins the court volleyball coaching staff and Panther Family after three seasons at Georgia Tech. At Tech, McColskey's primary responsibilities included scouting and video breakdown, training middle blockers and coordinating recruiting visits.

As a part of his duties, McColskey guided Yellow Jacket outside hitter Teegan Van Gunst to All-ACC First Team honors twice and All-America honorable mention recognition twice. She also garnered CoSIDA Academic All-American honors, ACC Scholar-Athlete of the Year and was awarded an NCAA Post-Grad Scholarship.

McColskey joined Georgia Tech from Jacksonville. In 2013, he helped the Dolphins improve to a 30-4 record from a 10-24 record a year prior, and win the 2013 Atlantic Sun Tournament. He assisted middle blocker Kylie Jacob to earn second team all-conference honors and earn all-tournament team accolades.

Prior to joining the Jacksonville staff, McColskey worked for a variety of volleyball clubs over the last six years throughout the Florida region, including Ocean Breeze, Jupiter and most recently the Instinct Volleyball Club.

McColskey served as an assistant coach for the boys’ USA Select A1 team at the 2013 USA High Performance Championships.

McColskey played two years (2007-2009) as a defensive specialist and outside hitter at King College in Bristol, Tenn. He graduated from Palm Beach State in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in supervision and management.
