STATESBORO- 
Max Wilkins nets two goals in the victory over the Georgia Southern Eagles, 4-2, snapping a two game losing streak.
 
Panthers get off to a hot start with a goal from Wilkins in the first minute of the match.
 
 
The Eagles responded and tied it up in the 23
rd minute.
 
Neither team would score for the rest of the half.
 
In the 54
th minute the Eagles would score another goal to go ahead.
 
Shortly thereafter 
Tristan Jumeau would net the equalizer. The unassisted goal came in the 55
th minute from a deflected ball off of the Eagles.
 
 
Gavin Williams would find 
Simon Carlson in the box for a smooth and sneaky goal to put the Panthers in the lead.
 
The Panthers kept applying pressure and would secure the win with Wilkins header, assisted by 
Justin McLean.
Wilkins two goals is a new individual single game high, which awarded him four points, another single game high. McLean still leads the Panthers in assists with five.
 
The Panthers will be back at home Friday, October 7 to take on Coastal Carolina at 7 p.m.. The match will be aired on ESPN+.
