Jones Makes Pro Debut for AFL's Tampa Bay Storm

Former Georgia State football standout Brandon Jones made his professional debut Saturay with the Tampa Bay Storm of the Arena Football League after signing with the team this week.

The Storm played the Georgia Force Saturday night at Gwinnett Arena.

Jones, from Decatur, Ga., and Southwest DeKalb High School, was a two-year starter at safety and one of the Panthers' defensive leaders in their first two seasons. He made 103 career tackles to rank fourth in GSU history.

Two other former Panthers are also pursuing their professional dreams this weekend. Defensive lineman Christo Bilukidi, a sixth round draft pick of the Oakland Raiders, and outside linebacker Jake Muasau, who earned a tryout with the New York Giants, are participating in mini-camps.
