*GSU lost to Troy in five sets.
*Sydney Stroud and Crystal Lee hit double digit kills.
*Georgia State plays Appalachian State next.
TROY- The Troy Trojans defeated GSU volleyball in five sets Saturday evening (25-18, 23-25, 25-17, 15-9). The Panthers are now 1-3 in Sun Belt play.
Georgia State dropped the fist set 18-25, but battled back to take the second 25-23. Georgia State played tough to battle to a 25-17 Troy win in the fourth. The Trojans would take the fifth 15-9.
Crystal Lee's 17 kills while hitting .350, led the Panthers. Nine GSU players had kills in the contest.
Georgia State will be back in action as the team takes a trip to the Carolinas. The Panthers will take on Appalachian State in Boone on Friday, before traveling to Conway to battle Coastal Carolina on Sunday afternoon.
